The Challenge
AHDB’s Sutton Bridge research facility carries out research into storage conditions for potato crops. The requirement for a DSEAR RA was identified during a group audit.
The Solution Provided
Although no significant storage and handling of flammable substances was identified, the site was still required to comply with DSEAR in respect of flammable gases and liquids.
A report together with Hazardous Area Classification drawings and prioritised recommendations was delivered to assist the company with its group objectives.
